Diesel Locomotive Series 218
Example: Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) class 218 diesel locomotive. Traffic red basic paint scheme. Road number 218 499-2. As in service from 2011.
Model: With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally mounted flywheel. All four axles powered. Anti-slip wheels. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on Locomotive End 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation. The engineer’s cab lighting changes over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. The headlights are maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Mounted metal handrails on the sides and ends. Detailed buffer beam with snow plows typical of the series. Brake lines, screw couplers and enclosed snow plows are included as separately mountable parts. Length across the buffers 18.9 cm.
